We are a one business company. Marine Surveying and consultancy. We are not affiliated with any other marine related business. This assures you that when you retain us, you will receive a service that is not biased toward any lender, insurance company, yacht broker, or repair company. We work for you and only you.
Furthermore, since we understand the sea can be very unforgiving, we focus strongly on the regulations established by the United States Coast Guard as well as the voluntary standards set by the American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) and the National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA).
Our reports are accepted by all lenders and insurance underwriters. Moreover, our surveys provide a detailed report of the vessel and are compiled in a clearly understood format.
Lee Taylor, our Operating Manager and Principle Surveyor possesses over eighteen years experience in the marine field ranging from marina management, vessel operation, boat construction, and systems installation to boat repair. He is a Survey Associate (SA) with the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors (SAMS), Standards Accredited by the American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC), and an Accredited Master Marine Surveyor with Navtech/US Surveyors Association.
Mr. Taylor also brings with him a background in law enforcement with a decade of experience including accident and criminal investigation as well as an instructor. This experience is quite evident in his methodical approach and attention to detail. Mr. Taylor is a graduate of the Navtech/USSA Yacht and Small Commercial Vessel Surveying Program and the State University of New York Maritime College's Marine Surveying - Yacht Damage Program.
Mr. Taylor is a strong proponent of education and attends seminars and courses related to marine surveying, and he is a co - founder of the Marine Surveyor Exchange (MSE) which encourages the free exchange of information among marine surveyors regardless of affiliation.
